Tropical Storm Calvin Nears Hurricane Strength
Calvin is nearing the cooler sea surface temperatures and stable environment south of Baja California. Even though the moderate easterly shear is anticipated to relax over the next few days, the cyclone is expected to peak as a Category 1 Hurricane this evening with gradual weakening thereafter as it moves west.
