Hi Everyone,
I was gonna try to post today, but way to hectic. This storm is causing a slew of problems across the Mid-Atlantic region. The high wind gusts and heavy rainfall really causing real problems. I will be posting some audio videos on my site when things calm down.
Rainfall amounts have ranged anywhere 6 to 12 inches to as much 15 inches over eastern sections of North Carolina. Those amounts will be seen further up the coast. Flooding will be very severe and even when Irene departs theses areas, flooding will continue for days. Philadelphia will have an all time record for the month of August when all is said and done.
Power outages continue to build. There were 200,000 folks without power over eastern North Carolina. Same situation is unfolding over eastern Virginia and that trend unfortunately will continue throughout the night and into tomorrow.
So, I may try to post later if time permits, but I may not have power to do so. Anyway, be safe out there.
