One of the nicest sites around is hurricanetrack.com, which is run by Mark Sudduth. Please check his site as he provides updates on the tropics and even goes out to the potential landfall site of a hurricane. Of course, he and his team make necessary prepraration to ensure their team is not at risk. Their data is later provided to the National Hurricane Center.
