Webcast – Major Winter Weather Archived (Thu, Mar 5, 2015)

Good Evening Folks,

That is a wrap for this major winter weather event.  The final video is a bit long, but wanted to wrap up things soon.  I probably spent a bit too much time covering those snowfall totals/stats on this event. Hopefully, I’ll get these videos shorter with time.

What a day for the big snowfall.  Many locations received 6 to 8 inches.  Hopefully, everyone is nice and warm.  Temperatures now will dive down into the single digits just inland, while at the shore it will be in the teens.  But by tomorrow, even though temperatures will barely get above freezing, the sun is strong enough to do some melting.  As we get into the weekend, temperatures will begin to moderate. Next week is looking warmer and will feel like spring.  So, that snow cover we have out there now, will be a thing of a memory later next week.  Amazing how fast things can change.
